Florida Home for Next Youth Leadership Camp

Florida Home for Next UNOSDP Youth Leadership Camp

Organized by the United Nations Sport for Development and Peace (UNOSDP), table tennis has been an integral part of the Youth Leadership Camps from the very beginning of the concept, when the inaugural edition was staged in Doha in January 2012.

The next camp, the 19th to be held, will be staged in Bradenton, Florida in the United States of America from Monday June 6th to Saturday June 18, 2016.

Target Areas 
Designed to inspire youth leadership, the targeted areas are Latin America, North America and surrounding islands; the official language for the proceedings is English.

Age Range
Participants should be 18 to 25 years of age, have a good command of the English language, show leadership potential and be currently be involved as employees or volunteers in grass roots projects

Costs 
UNOSDP will cover all costs relating to accommodation, food, small allowance, insurance and flights.

However, UNOSDP will not cover any costs relating to visa applications or travels to and from the Embassies.

Closing Date for Applications
National Association may submit applications direct, gender equality being a high priority; the closing date is Thursday 31st March 2016
