93-year-old man trying out for U.S. Olympic table tennis team

Sports Illustrator, January 8, 2016 – “93-year-old Bill Guilfoil will participate in USA Table Tennis’s open tryouts for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Guilfoil, an avid player who resides in Kansas, lost in the first round of the 2012 Olympic qualifiers and is back for more. He’ll participate in trials Feb. 4–7 in Greensboro, N.C., from which the top four players advance to a North American qualifier set for April.
