2025 Pan American Table Tennis Cup: An Event Of Excellence In San Francisco

Posted on

(by Edgardo Vazquez, National Coach)

The 2025 Pan American Table Tennis Cup, held in the vibrant city of San Francisco, was a true demonstration of the high level of competition on our continent. This tournament brought together the best players in America, consolidating itself as an elite event that not only puts titles at stake, but also strengthens the development of table tennis in the region.

From the first day, the organization of the event was impeccable. The United States Table Tennis Federation, in collaboration with the prestigious Club 888, did an exceptional job in logistics and in preparing a worthy setting for this great event. Every detail was attended to with professionalism, allowing the athletes to focus completely on their performance on the court.

One of the great protagonists of the tournament was, without a doubt, our BUTTERFLY brand, which continues to consolidate itself as the reference of excellence in world table tennis. In this edition, Butterfly tables and balls were used, guaranteeing an optimal level of play for the participants and ensuring that the event was held with the highest quality standards.

For Puerto Rico, the Pan American Cup was an invaluable opportunity to demonstrate its talent and its constant growth on the international scene. We had the outstanding participation of Brian Afanador, our main exponent and Butterfly-sponsored player, who continues to represent the island with determination and passion. Along with him, Brianna Burgos also left her mark on the competition, showing her determination and great level of play against the best rivals on the continent.

Beyond the results, this Pan American Cup reaffirms that table tennis in America continues to rise and that Puerto Rico remains a competitive nation in this sport. We deeply thank Butterfly America, the United States Federation and Club 888 for making this event a total success and for continuing to promote the development of table tennis in our region.

We continue forward with our eyes set on the next challenges!
