Three10 Table Tennis Club Shines at Canadian Selection Tournament

The 2025 Canadian Selection Tournament, held in Mississauga from April 25 to 27, brought together top youth table tennis players from across the country. Athletes from Three10 Table Tennis Club stood out with exceptional performances, securing podium finishes and earning the opportunity to represent Canada on the international stage.

Daniel Liang, just 12 years old, delivered an outstanding performance in the U13 Boyscategory, finishing in 1st place. His skill, composure, and determination were evident throughout the tournament as he went undefeated to take the title.

In the U13 Girls category, Cindy Zhu, also 12, demonstrated impressive focus and consistency. She battled through a strong field to earn a 3rd place finish, showing she is one of the top young players in the country.

Sunny Zhang captured 1st place in the U15 Girls category with dominant play and excellent tactical control. Her performance confirmed her position as one of Canada’s top U15 athletes.

In the U19 Girls event, Jessie Xu delivered a powerful showing to secure 2nd place. Her maturity and competitive drive earned her not only a spot at the Pan American Championships but also qualification for the prestigious Junior Pan Am Games, where she will compete among the continent’s best young athletes.

As a result of their achievements, all four athletes: Daniel Liang, Cindy Zhu, Sunny Zhang, and Jessie Xu, earned the honor of representing Canada at the 2025 Pan American Championships in their respective age categories.

Congratulations to these dedicated players and the coaching staff at Three10 TTC for their hard work and commitment to excellence. Their success is a testament to the strength of the club’s development program and the future of Canadian table tennis.
