The Fremont Butterfly July Open tournament took place this past weekend (July 16-18) at Fremont Table Tennis Academy. There were 77 players competing in 14 events with trophies and medals to the top 4 finishers in each event.

There were events from Under 25 rating (most beginner) to Open Singles to junior events for various ages. The most entry level events took place on Friday (Under 25, Under 50, Under 100, Under 400). Saturday featured the intermediate rating events from Under 700 to Under 1600. The highest rated players battled Sunday morning with junior events completing play on Sunday afternoon. The highest events were won by Ishaan Mahendrakar and the lowest-rated events were won by Zoe Zhang.
