Han Xiao, former National Team Member, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles Champion and current USATT Athlete to the USOC’s Athlete Advisory Council, was recently announced by the USOC to have been selected as one of two Athlete Services Coordinators (ASC) for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio. ASCs provide a wide range of direct athlete services while in the village during the Olympic Games that allow the athletes to focus on their competitions. It is a demanding assignment, but will allow Han direct contact with athletes from all the Summer Olympic Games program sports and will allow Han direct interfacing with Rio Local Organization Committee staffers and all USOC and NGB leaders.

USATT’s Whitney Ping performed this duty in 2012 in London.
